Birthday Celebrations

Happy Monday!

This past weekend we celebrated a lot of birthdays. On Friday, we went 80's roller skating in Fountain Valley for my brother-in-law Russell's 32nd birthday. It was a blast, and quite hilarious at the same time. There were so many teenagers and kids that were very entertaining (see hilarious photo bomb in photo above). We did the hokie pokie and skated the night away. It's fun to feel like a kid every now and then!

On Saturday, we celebrated my sister's step-daughter Sadie's 7th birthday. We had a pool party for her in Irvine at their apartment complex which was really nice. It was relaxing to lay out by the pool and go swimming. Dave and I don't get very many chances to hang out at a pool, so it was a nice change up. Later that day, we continued the birthday party celebrations and drove up to Culver City to go to a bonfire for one of our friend's birthdays. Fun times!

On Sunday, we were home at our own place for once. I feel like the past month we have been gone over the weekend, so it was nice to finally have a chill Sunday before another busy week.

And that's a wrap, my friends!
