Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday! I love this quote by President Gordon B. Hinckley:

"It isn’t as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don’t worry. I say that to myself every morning. It will all work out. If you do your best, it will all work out. Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith and confidence in the future. The Lord will not forsake us. He will not forsake us… If we will put our trust in Him, if we will pray to Him, if we will live worthy of His blessings, He will hear our prayers." - Gordon B. Hinckley

I have been having some difficult times lately and have had to put my faith and trust in God. He ultimately knows what is best for us and has a plan for each one of us. Sometimes I lack that faith and patience and go with what I think is best. But if we put our faith and trust in God, a supreme and all-knowing being, everything will work out. We must do our part and He will help with the rest.

General Conference Weekend

I really enjoyed General Conference this weekend. The words were so inspiring and uplifting. I love when you feel like the prophet and apostles are speaking directly to you. Everything that was spoken was exactly what I needed to hear.

My family came up this weekend for Conference and we had to much fun together. On Friday, we went to the BYU Men's Volleyball game against UCI. It was such an intense game. Unfortunately, we LOST (but the night before we killed them). Our team wasn't as good this year, but I think we played well in this game nonetheless. My family and I danced to the songs in between each set, it was hilarious. My mom cracks me up with her dance moves. Haha. After the game, I went roller skating with my siblings Krystal, Jason, and Sean. We had so much fun together! We held hands in our little Kimball line. A lot of our friends were there, and we just had a great time. Since everyone was in a party mood, we went to a dance party after at Seven Peaks. There weren't that many people there (since we arrived at 12:30 a.m.!) but all of us made it fun. I was so tired after the night. On Saturday, I watched conference in the morning with my sister and roommates, and then my sister and I drove up to SLC to watch the afternoon session with the rest of my family. We then went to my Grandma's in West Bountiful since we don't get to see her that much. It was great to see her! She always makes yummy food. Finally, my sister and I drove back to Provo together and had a fun night going to another party and playing games. I am glad my family was able to come up this weekend. I miss them all the time! I am grateful I have my bro up here at school with me...it makes it better! I really had fun with my sister this weekend and being with her for most of it. I can't wait to go home for the summer! Here are some pictures from the whole weekend!
