However, I will always miss the memories that were made during my BYU journey. Provo, you will be missed! But I am ready to move on to a new chapter in life... the "real world" as my husband calls it. He has already started his post-college job in January. And I will start mine next week. We are growing up!

The Halloween Half
A week ago on Saturday I ran my first HALF MARATHON!!! I honestly didn't know what I was getting myself into at first, but it was a huge accomplishment and I am so glad I did it. I had a blast!
Since it was Halloween season, dressing up in Halloween costumes was a must. One of my best friends, Devri, and I dressed up as jazzercise girls - but since it was freeeeezing out, we decided to wear our running jackets over our costumes. But we still had fun anyway!
Honestly, the race was not as bad as I thought it would be. If you ask my husband, I was SO nervous the day before... literally freaking out. I could hardly sleep the night before... I maybe got 5 hours of sleep. But I knew that with a positive attitude and belief that I could endure through the race, I could get through it! And I did!

Our New Home
We FINALLY moved into our new apartment about a month ago now and we absolutely love it! We like our new ward and our neighbors and the cute kitchen that I was able to set up.
It literally took me four weeks to get everything packed, settled, and organized, not to mention that I had to clean the entire apartment on my own since the people that lived there before us left it pretty filthy. But it's all good now because we have a cute little place to ourselves and I'm loving every minute of it. Yay for our first apartment as newlyweds!

Honeymooning
We had such a fun honeymoon.
First stop was the Montage...
And let me tell you, it was the most gorgeous hotel I have been to.
Then off to Coronado Island... it was my first time there
Even though the hotel was not as nice as the Montage (what hotel is?) we still loved it.
Our hotel had an ocean front view
We rode bikes on the boardwalk and laid out on the beach.
And I got sooooo sunburned on the last day!!! Not good.
Even though it was short, we can't complain... because we were together!!!
I am the luckiest girl in the world to have Dave in my life. And I am looking forward to all of our adventures together!

Hello, Married Life
We are married!!!
Our big day was on June 18 in the Newport beach temple... And we couldn't be happier! It was such a special day, and one that I will never forget. We got married and sealed in the temple which was followed by a beautiful ring ceremony and reception. It all turned out how I always imagined it. I am so so so happy! The whole day Dave and I could not stop smiling... We were definitely on cloud nine. We couldn't have asked for anything better!
Our honeymoon was spent walking along the beach at the Montage Hotel for the first day as well as three days in Coronado Island at the Hotel Del Coronado. We had a blast just spending time together and relaxing. We seriously needed it after doing finals, planning a wedding, and packing for all of our adventures. We rode along the boardwalk on beach cruisers, kayaked toward the Coronado bridge, relaxed at the beach, and ate yummy seafood at the Boat House across from our hotel. We actually ate oyster shooters for the first time while we were there... haha what an experience! I love seafood so it didn't taste too bad... but it definitely had the strong ocean taste.
Married life is the best. I am so happy and grateful to be married to my best friend and love of my life. Dave is the BEST husband in the WORLD! He is so good to me and treats me like a QUEEN! We are excited for all of our future adventures in our life together and looking forward to them.
Stay tuned on our new blog and read all of our newlywed adventures. Ciao for now!
